For more than 25 years Robert Braverman has provided business and personal debtors as well as creditors with bankruptcy advice. With the passage of The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention & Consumer Protection Act and its more stringent guidelines, the law firm has developed and implemented procedures to address the consequences of the new bankruptcy law.
Often financial difficulties result from illness, divorce, loss of employment or change in business landscape. Debtors should have an opportunity for a fresh start. We bring a great deal of experience to the complex area of bankruptcy law. We also have a great deal of business expertise and can explore options short of bankruptcy to resolve problems with creditors, such as work outs. If bankruptcy is the best solution, we can determine the type of bankruptcy that is best suited for your goals. Those options include Chapter 11 where the business is reorganized or Chapter 7 where the business assets are liquidated. In addition to experience as a bankruptcy lawyer and as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers School of Law, Camden, Robert also serves as a bankruptcy mediator. Robert has co-authored bankruptcy publications and lectured on bankruptcy for different organizations, including the New Jersey State BarAssociation, New Jersey ICLE and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
